Week 4 Term 2 2013
Apinun!
Week 4 already – it seems like this term is racing by just as quickly as the first one!
Thankyou
A big thank you to Mrs Francis for holding the fort while I was away most of last week. I know the children will have looked after her wonderfully and vice versa.
The course I was at was fantastic, and while the focus was on children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) there were many things that came up that I hope to use to good effect with everyone in the classroom – like not talking as much!!! (Maybe I could apply that to my newsletters too) J
Cross Country
What a shame about the cross country! It is always such a neat afternoon watching our wee guys giving it their all, and looking so pleased with themselves when they cross
that finish line. Everyone cheers on everybody else and there are always high fives all round – so much so that some children forget to keep running! Next year! J
The Big Sad Wolf
This production sounded really cool, and by all accounts it was. I am disappointed I missed seeing it but am pretty sure that I'll find out all about it over the next couple of days.
Plastic bottle tops and Colgate boxes
Thank you for continuing to keep the colgate boxes and plastic lids coming in. Did you know that the docket noting your purchase of the toothpaste counts as a point as well as the actual box? (It might be just me that isn't up with the play!)
Remember also, that the plastic tops can be any colour, shape or size eg fizzy drink tops, milk bottle lids, marmite jar lids etc. We still need lots and lots so keep collecting!
